Halloween has come and gone and that means that Thanksgiving and winter holidays such as Christmas start taking over the thoughts and minds of your average American. However, the cheery days of family time and bonding are often replaced by feelings of stress or anxiety to please everyone else through food and presents (pst: are you suffering stress or anxiety? Although I love food, I would much rather take the feelings of happiness over a ridiculously large feast any day. Many people rush through these holidays without taking a step back and really being grateful for what they have. A perfect example of this would be black Friday, which now officially starts on Thursday…also known as Thanksgiving day. 

I hope that more people wake up and step out of the materialistic world that surrounds us and really become in-tuned with their loved ones and even strangers this year. So today I wanted to share some amazing mantras to help you become more thankful for what you have right now instead of chasing after the newest sale, gadget or even yoga pants! Live in the now and be grateful for all the beauty that surrounds you!

5 Mantras for Gratitude this Holiday Season

Meditation is the perfect way to escape from all this and really get you back on track (see how meditation can heal your body) One tool I like to use during certain meditations are mantras. You can practice saying your mantras aloud or silently in your mind.

I personally like to say mine out loud because I believe the vibrations from my voice help to set a positive energy around me.

5 Mantras for Gratitude


1. I am grateful for my health and the knowledge that surrounds me to stay in good health.

2. Having gratitude attracts harmonious relationships, I am thankful for each and every one.

3. I am thankful for the obstacles in my life, for they are lessons I get to learn.

4. I appreciate each blessing in my life, big or small, and know there is always something to be grateful for.

5. Thank you
